Join us for a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the Power of Testimony. During the 2021 Upstander Institute, participants will go on personalized exhibition tours, join behind-the-scenes museum activities, attend private survivor presentations, and meet with leading research organizations. Each themed week includes project-based learning in which participants will conduct high level research and present their findings. All programs are offered in-person at the Museum or virtually.
The Upstander Institute will offer three unique sessions: June 14-18 (Holocaust History), July 12-16 (Genocide Studies), and August 2-6 (American Human Rights).
Students must apply to the Upstander Institute via a short application. Applications will be closed June 1 and applicants will be notified of the decision on a rolling basis.
