Summer Learn to Row Camps

Summer will be here before we know it! It's time to learn a new sport, meet new friends, stay fit and have fun! One of the best things about rowing is “no experience necessary.” All that is needed is a positive attitude, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to put forth your best effort. You must be able to swim.
Rowing is a total body workout. Rowing is one of the few athletic activities that involve all the body’s major muscle groups. It is a great aerobic workout is a low-impact sport on the joints. Your two-week camp will cover:
- Education on the different parts of the boat and role of each rower based on where they sit on the boat;
- Gain experience on the water, including dry docking;
- Land practice will cover strengthening and cardio; and
- Most importantly, understand team work is key. There are no MVPs here.

This is a great introduction to make new friends, try something new this summer and learn the basic fundamentals of Rowing.
