The Black History Committee is excited to bring GTC's 2024 Black History Program to the community immediately following our fifth annual Tutus and Tennis Shoes 5K Fundraiser. This year's theme is The Stories We Tell: Sharing our Black History through Creative Expression. Come and enjoy presentations from our Grade Groups, local historians, Voices of Inspiration-Walton Academy for the Performing Arts Children's Choir, Special Guest performances, appearances from Miss Juneteenth and more! This event will be interactive and fun for all ages. GTC families will recieve a food coupons for every registered GTC family member to utilize at the variety of food trucks that will be available at the event. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the program festivities!
