F E Lykes Foundation

The F. E. Lykes Foundation (formerly the Frederick E. & Velma Lykes Foundation) was established in 1974 as an independent family foundation focused on charitable giving primarily in the Tampa Bay area. The current focus of the Foundation is to enhance public spaces and community environments. Staying true to that mission, the Foundation has concentrated on several city parks to provide more seating, shade trees, landscaping, recreational and entertainment options. Additional areas of support have included public art projects, neighborhood improvements, and selected City of Tampa Parks & Recreation programs.
