Every Wednesday evening, the tables at Conworlds Emporium transform into a battlefield of brilliant tactics, daring sacrifices, and dramatic checkmates during our Casual Chess Night! Join us from 5:30pm-8pm in downtown Tarpon Springs for an evening of friendly competition, learning, and community.
Whether you’re a longtime tournament player, a casual hobbyist, or someone who only recently learned how the knight moves, Chess Night is open to all ages and skill levels. Players are welcome to jump into casual matches, challenge new opponents, practice strategies, or simply hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where experienced players often help newer players sharpen their game and everyone is encouraged to have fun.
We’ll have a limited number of chess boards available to borrow, but bringing your own set is encouraged just in case tables fill up. Spectators, parents, and curious newcomers are always welcome too, making this a perfect midweek activity for families, friends, students, and anyone looking to unplug for a few hours and enjoy some classic face-to-face gameplay.
From quiet strategic duels to intense endgame standoffs, every Wednesday at Conworlds feels like stepping into a living chessboard.
