The 41st Annual Alafia Lighted Boat Parade, hosted by the FishHawk-Riverview Rotary Club, is a beloved community tradition that lights up the Alafia River with festive cheer and family fun.
Outdoors:
Enjoy holiday music, entertainment, and riverfront viewing of beautifully decorated parade boats. Local organizations will also be on site, sharing information and volunteer opportunities.
Indoors at the Riverview Civic Center:
Kids can meet Santa and enjoy holiday crafts, while guests sample delicious entries at the Chili Cook-Off ($5 per tasting ticket). Vote for your favorites and cheer for the winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase.
After-Party:
Continue the celebration at The River’s Edge Bar & Grill, 6226 Ohio Ave, Gibsonton, starting at 7 PM, with live music, community fun, and the announcement of Best Decorated Boat winners.
This family-friendly evening unites neighbors in the true spirit of the season while supporting Rotary’s local and international service projects — including the ongoing campaign to end polio.
